Firstly prepare chamois leather cloth, oil, and tissue.

1.Use a soft tissue for taking out hairs, dirt, and thoroughly wipe your scissors after every haircut.

2.Put oil around the screw area. Do not put it too much.

3.Use the soft chamois leather cloth to wipe the oil.

4.Check your scissors for correct tension adjustment at least once per day.

Many customers who try to get perm done doesn’t know about merit and demerits of perm service.

Here are some tips all you have to know about perm before you get it done.

What is perm meaning?

A permanent hairstyle commonly called a perm or “permanent” (sometimes called a “perm” to distinguish it from a “straight perm“), is a hairstyle consisting of styles set into the hair. The hairstyle, although not truly permanent, may last for several months. Perms may be applied using thermal or chemical means.

Do perms ruin your hair?

Basically perm is chemical and it damages your hair. Each time you get it done your hair getting weak and dry little by little.

Part of hair you got a perm is weaker than new hair so when you get a perm done again you had better use mild solution for ends part otherwise your hair becomes damage so quickly.

How long do perms last for?

Usually Perm last 2 to 6 month.

But it depends on how curl, length and hair condition.

As healthy as your hair condition perm last longer.

Tight curl last longer and lose curl fade out first.

If you want to keep your curl longer you need to take care of your hair nicely.

Can you undo a perm?

Yes, you can undo a perm.

But from the second time, you might need to use a mild solution instead of using a regular perm solution.

The permed part needs to be a mild solution and new hair need to be regular perm solution.

Will my perm get curlier after I wash it?

If you get a cold perm(regular perm) yes your perm get curlier after you wash your hair.

Cold perm(regular perm)is something like when your hair is wet curl come out nicely and get dry curl to become loose.

Can I wet my hair after a perm?

You can wet hair after the perm is done.

But basically, it’s better to wait 24 hours for locking the curl.

Right after the perm your curl is not perfectly locked and it takes while like 1 day.

You need to follow the rule below

1. Use fingers though instead of comb though
2. Use acid shampoo and treatment
3. Try not straight iron often
4. Use hair oil or hair cream after shampoo
5. Try not to wear a hat or ponytail too much

will my hair grow back after a bad perm?

Once you got a bad perm you need to cut it off if you want to get another perm.

But if your hair condition is good enough to get another one you can redo a perm.

Hair condition is most important things for the perm so if your hair got damaged a lot you need to wait until new hair grows up longer.

How do you fix dry hair after a perm?

After a perm, your hair become fry so you need to put hair oil and cream to take care of your hair.

Your hair needs moisture so please use acid shampoo and treatment as well.

Probably ends part become dry easily and in that case, it’s better to trim the ends.

What type of perm is exist?

Before you get perm done you need to know about perm type.

1. Cold perm(regular perm)
2. Digital perm
3. Spiral perm
4. Afro perm
5. Air perm
6. Robot perm
7. Aqua perm

Digital perm, Air perm, Robot perm is used special machine (heat temperature )and the result is something different compare to cold perm.

Spiral perm and Afro perm is used same perm solution as cold perm but the result is much tighter and lasts longer.

Perm style with male 

Many men customers get perm style and especially it’s good with straight hair.

Perm give texture and body so it will look different.
